This amp is rated at 120 watts per channel at 8 ohms. It is a very well-built amp. It was 100% built in the UK. This amp has a dual mono choke regulated power supply. That means that there are two power supplies, one for each channel. Each power supply has a large choke, an inductor used to clean up the power. This is the way that a perfectionist builds a power supply. This design contributes to the fine sound of this amp.
This amp was rated Class A by Stereophile in the early 2000s. Sam Tellig, the reviewer, said “Astonishing transparency is what makes this the only $1500 amp to get a Class A rating.”
